Project included over 13,000 square feet of full demolition, abatement, and renovation on the first floor and basement levels of the hospital. The major renovated components include installation of new plumbing, framing, drywall, all electrical, sprinkler system, nurse call system, fire alarm system, automatic doors, 15 new patient rooms, 4 doctor’s offices, staff bathrooms, installed AHU, and renovated patient waiting room area. Project was performed under tight ICRA (Infectious Control Risk Assessment) standards as the surrounding spaces remained active by hospital staff and patients. 

DOE Transformer Replacement

General Services Administration – Washington D.C.

Contract Dollar Amount:

$2,988,165

Project included the design and replacement of 111 transformers individually located throughout all of the Forrestal buildings with high energy efficient transformers. Design and construction included a new grounding grid, relocating/repositioning of transformers to meet NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements, SCIF and slab penetrations. Due to the sensitive operations within the building, the electrical outage schedule for each transformer had to be precise and closely monitored by all parties involved. All work was performed at nights and weekends.

Project included the partial demolition and renovation from a lockdown psychiatric ward into an inpatient rehabilitation center. Thirty-four bedrooms and bathrooms were demolished and renovated. Common areas and office spaces were partially demolished and renovated. Renovation included new flooring, paint, framing, drywall, thirty-four individual bathrooms, upgraded electrical, plumbing, fire alarm system, sprinkler system, CCTV system, controlled access, nurse station, pharmacy room, and telecommunications.

Potomac Demo and Road Paving

Client:

Department of Labor – Washington D.C.

Contract Dollar Amount:

$499,436

Demoed two structures and concrete slab measuring over 15,000 square feet, cut/cap all utilities including underground water and sewer lines, and graded/stabilized entire demoed site. Paved approximately 2,000 feet of road, and repaired storm drainage and curbs. Project was performed next to two tenant- occupied facilities.
